Grid shows you what your profile grid will look like before you publish anything. It never posts for you, and it never connects to any social account.
A new post lands at the top left of a profile and pushes everything else down, so anything you are planning appears above what you have already published.
Two things follow from that, and both are deliberate:
Touch and hold a planned photo, then drag. A quick swipe scrolls the grid instead. Published photos do not move.
Open any post and choose Hide from preview to see what your profile would look like without it. Nothing is deleted, and Show in preview brings it back.
Choose a photo, pick 3x1, 3x2 or 3x3, and Grid cuts it into tiles. Post them in the order Grid numbers them — tile 1 first. Because the newest post goes to the top left, the last tile you publish is the one that ends up there. Posting them in reading order puts the picture in upside down.
Does Grid post to my account? No. Grid has no connection to any social network and no way to publish anything.
Do my photos get uploaded? No. They are copied into Grid’s own storage on your iPhone and stay there.
Why does Grid not ask for photo library access? It uses the system picker, so you hand over only the photos you select. Grid never sees the rest of your library.
I bought Pro and it is not showing. Open the paywall and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the Apple Account that made the purchase.
How do I cancel? Settings → Manage subscription in Grid, or iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
My photos disappeared. This should not happen — Grid stores photos by name and resolves them fresh each launch, precisely so an iOS update cannot break them. If it does, please email us with your iOS version and what you did last.
