A personal video automation tool by Luke Fairbanks
What it is
shorts-factory is a personal, non-commercial command-line application that runs on my own
computer. It creates short-form videos and publishes them to my own YouTube
channels using YouTube API Services (the YouTube Data API's video
upload functionality).
What it does
Assembles short vertical videos from AI-generated clips, voiceover, and music on my machine
Uploads the finished videos to my own YouTube channels via the YouTube Data API
Sets each video's title, description, tags, and privacy status
Marks uploads with YouTube's synthetic/altered-content disclosure and, where applicable, the "made for kids" designation
Who uses it
Only me. shorts-factory is not distributed, sold, or offered as a service. It has no user
accounts, collects no data from anyone, and interacts only with YouTube channels that I own.
See the privacy policy for details on how it handles data.
